today

is winter

here

on the oval

rain brings puddles

brings ducks

paired lights on black roads

one after another

i walk - hood up

rain on 

leaves and soil

tin and tiles

beneath the cedar

on the needles -

lost yellow leaf

ceasless fall 

fountain water

fill my restless head

late autumn:

last leaves almost down

old dog almost done

standing 

on the evening shore

passing wind
