UARAH HILL HAIKU
haiku by Timothy K
Sunday, July 27, 2008
as we fight
at the lights -
galahs on the wire
street light light
held tight
morning fog
i dreamt
sardine sandwiches
for everybody
came to visit -
sun and bird song
push through closed curtains
fog loiters
over the wetland
till lunch time
Saturday, July 19, 2008
fog filled valley
fog filled head
vivid sky aloft
arresting the city
the forest..
the moon tonight
a fallow field
as yesterday
the kite hovers
pleasantly surpassing
my expectation-
this sardine sandwich
Tuesday, July 8, 2008
over the dew
this winter -
the fox bolts
this country stroll
on and on
until it ends
Wednesday, July 2, 2008
still pools
in the rocks - rounded stones
in my pocket
as i wait
trains come and go
until i go
smoke from
tobacco fires
mingle on the roof
Thursday, June 26, 2008
by the lake
no clothes no skin
bare before the wind
Sunday, June 22, 2008
stop!
the moon
in a puddle
morning sky
in the puddles
slowly...
that small cloud
hovers
behind the moon
Wednesday, June 18, 2008
today
is winter
here
on the oval
rain brings puddles
brings ducks
paired lights on black roads
one after another
i walk - hood up
rain on
leaves and soil
tin and tiles
beneath the cedar
on the needles -
lost yellow leaf
ceasless fall
fountain water
fill my restless head
late autumn:
last leaves almost down
old dog almost done
standing
on the evening shore
passing wind
